TEACHING & INSTRUCTION

Pre-ETS (Employment Training Services) brings practical life skill application to students with disabilities who are ages 16-22 for 6 hours per week.

  • Providing individual and small group instruction to students with disabilities.
  • Interacting with teachers and students in a professional manner.
  • Always ensure the safety of students and staff during service times.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Completing basic state-required forms in a timely manner.
  • Using and updating electronic and paper-based data systems.
  • Using cloud-based technology on personal computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Track attendance for each service daily.
  • Maintain materials provided by Bloom Consulting for school-year service use.

PLANNING

  • Working independently and collaboratively while planning curriculum.
  • Follow the curriculum that is provided and seek approval for any changes.
  • Communicate students’ needs to supervisor.
  • Maintaining receipts for clients and providers.
  • Reviewing paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have:
    • two years of experience working with students with disabilities
    • OR
    • 60 hours of college credit in special education, specific disabilities, social work, counseling, business, or a related field.
  • You are comfortable interacting with small groups of students.
  • You can communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.
  • You are proficient in basic computer skills (email, spreadsheet, calendars).
  • You consistently meet recurring deadlines.
