Position Overview:
Bloom Consulting is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. DSPs will provide off-site Individualized Support Services (ISS) for 2-3 clients or in-home care, focusing on empowering clients to achieve greater independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Promote skill development tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages independence.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document progress and activities as required.
Qualifications:
- A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
- Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' locations as needed.
