Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (Home & Community-based Services)
Wages: $69.78/hour

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract-based therapy services under the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program. This role involves working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to improve speech, language, feeding, and social interaction skills. Services are delivered in natural environments such as Day Habilitation centers, client homes, and community settings, with therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
This is a contract position with flexible scheduling. Hours will vary from week to week based on client needs and availability.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech and communication goals
Provide therapy in home, community, and Day Hab settings
Collaborate with caregivers, interdisciplinary teams, and service providers
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HCS standards
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Licensure: Active SLP license in the state where services are provided
Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY may be considered
Experience:
At least 1 year working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
Experience with HCS or other Medicaid waiver programs strongly preferred
Additional Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with AAC devices and alternative communication strategies
Proficient in electronic documentation and therapy planning tools
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Must pass all required background checks and credentialing processes
